Mrs. St. Martin graduated from Trinity College in Burlington, Vermont with an undergraduate degree in English. Post-secondary work in policy earned Ms. St. Martin her master's degree in Education Policy/School Leadership. While achieving her Education Leadership credentials in New York City, she completed her principal residency at Brooklyn Science Skills High School. This experience provided Ms. St. Martin hands on field work with New York City Department of Education, the largest public school system in the United States. Her professional career in Springfield began as an International Baccalaureate English teacher at Commerce High School and moving to the Renaissance High School, also as an English teacher. Ms. St. Martin’s administrative tenure at Chestnut T.A.G. Middle School lead her to her principal leadership work at M. Marcus Kiley Middle School, where she now serves as the founding principal of Kiley Prep Middle School. janae jonesacting assistant principalMs. Janae Jones attended American International College for her undergraduate studies and earned a bachelors of Science in Psychology and earned her Master's of education with a focus of school counseling from Springfield College.
Ms. Jones is passionate about working with children. As the Assistant principal, Ms. Jones deals with the daily issues of school management, student activities and services, community relations, personnel, and curriculum instruction. Ms. Jones works closely with Principal St. Martin to assist in defining and enforcing school policies and guidelines for students, staff, and faculty. |
James goodwindean of studentsMr. Goodwin is a husband and father of two boys. He attended Keene State College for his undergraduate studies and earned a master’s degree in school counseling from Westfield State College.
He has worked as a School Counselor, Administrator, and Dean of Students at Kiley Middle School since 2008. Mr. Goodwin is passionate about working with his students and their families. He works diligently to guide scholars to become effective learners who develop academic mindsets and skills for success. Mr. Goodwin models for students habits of character such as initiative, responsibility, perseverance, and collaboration. Most importantly, Mr. Goodwin’s primary goal with all students is to support them on their path to grow into socially responsive and ethical people who treat one another with fairness, equity, compassion, and respect. His personal and professional belief system translates to his focus on race equity, diversity, and inclusivity. |
mark laurenzanodean of students & Director of fitzoneMr. Laurenzano has been the director of Kiley’s FitZone Program designed to increase self perception, develop self esteem and ignite leadership skills. Through written self evaluations and guided questions, each member will recognize and understand their character strengths. These strengths will be clearly identified through an informal and formal process. The power of positive thinking will allow the climate and the environment to be conducive for risk taking,emotional breakthroughs and “I will never forget moments.”.

She began her career at Kiley as a Paraprofessional and then moved into the role of Guidance Clerk. Doing ALL things Guidance, assisting our Counselors, Parents, Students, and other staff. Mrs. Bucalo is a wife, mother, and newly Glamother of a beautiful little girl named Avacyn.

I have served under four wonderful Principals, and each have brought their own special pizazz to Kiley. Great customer service has always been my driving force. I genuinely enjoy helping people!
Born and raised in Springfield, MA I have two lovely daughters who have graduated from SPS and now my granddaughter will be starting in an Elementary School in Springfield. In my down time I love to read, go to outdoor concerts, and watch my chunky grandbabies. She has six grandchildren. Loves classic and muscle cars and belongs to a car club.
